PHILLIP JONES

Phillip Jones is Senior Partner of Charsley Harrison. After qualifying as a solicitor he had a short period working in Industry. Thereafter for the next 10 years he undertook a full range of legal work including crime, property, commercial, family and probate. This gave him an exceptionally broad experience and has enabled him to advise clients in a comprehensive manner.

He then decided to specialise in Commercial Law and now undertakes a wide range of commercial work including commercial agreements, (for example, distribution agreements and agency agreements), acquisition and disposals of companies and businesses and commercial property. He is able to provide a good broad service to commercial clients.

His philosophy is that commercial clients need a key contact – someone who understands the client’s individual affairs and therefore, in many cases, it will be he who, if necessary, will discuss matters with his colleagues rather than pass the client to others. This way he is able to care generally for the client’s needs

Phillip Jones is admitted as a solicitor both in England and in the Republic of Ireland. He is also a Notary Public

Outside his legal practice he is Chairman of an Electronics Company located both in the United Kingdom and the United States. He believes that this enables him to appreciate client’s problems from “both sides of the fence”.
